Abomination and Potential is a collection of experimental acoustic/synth songs I wrote and recorded in Sudbury, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, Calgary and Ottawa between 2000 and 2010.

The album features 17 original tracks, including all of the songs I recorded for a demo called "Songs By Josef Mieto EP" in 2010. I gave away a hundred copies of this "Songs By" album at live shows, but never 'officially' released it until now.

Tracks 3 and 5 are early versions of songs that made it onto the more recent studio albums, "Bad Eyes", and "Down Low".

Track 12 was featured on the hip hop mix tape, "The Meaning Vol. 2" in 2004 from Factual Records.

These songs were produced and recorded on tape and old computer equipment, and were only lightly touched up to maintain the original lo-fi sound.
